SHOULD INNOSON GO PUBLIC?

An Nnewi born contributor, Anayo M. Nwosu floated this idea recently on Facebook. A mild debate is currently raging prompting me to weigh in. I believe that such a generally desirable step is kind of premature.
We should put our money where our mouth is. If we expect Federal Government patronage to take INNOSON to the next level, then we do not understand the mindset of our adversaries or competition. (Choose one.) The minimal love of the FG for INNOSON can be likened to that of the former Iraqi Prime Minister Abadi for the Kurdish Pershmerger while the later was investing blood, sweat and tears to liberate an Iraq that walked voluntarily into the warm embrace of ISIS. Only to attack Kurdistan Tikrit when victory had been won! This administration has no abiding interest in the survival of INNOSON since it has no interest in the survival of Nigeria as a going concern. It's all a matter of exploitation. .
Enough of the griping though. How many Ndigbo have queued up behind Sen Ben Murray-Bruce to buy an INNOSON automobile? If just ten percent of car and bus sales in the next two years are from the INNOSON stable, (just like for Cutix cables), then whatever vocal support heaped on Chief Innocent Chukwuma for his current achievements would have taken on a concrete form. It would be most interesting observing how his (and Ndigbo) detractors would deal with that. For those who don't know it, (or rather pretend not to know), both warfare and genocide take on so many different forms. Find out what Jimanze Ego-Alowes has to say about this.
Where were we? Oh yes, INNOSON going public. This is a good idea my dear Anayo M. Nwosu but seems premature to me. The kind of unconscionable attack/demarketing to which INNOSON has recently been subjected required a very tight, resilient and agile management team at a time the governments of the former Eastern Region have refused to find common cause with the exertions at INNOSON Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited. I hope that they can prove me wrong shortly.
First, LET'S BUY INNOSON. It is our own Mahindra and Tata rolled into one. For more check my archives.
