For goodness sake do I need to reveal that I actually voted for APC and General Buhari in the last presidential election?
But I must, based on the recent developments. I am referring to the unwarranted threat by Oba Rilwan Akiolu against Ndigbo perceived as pro-PDP. I wonder what he would do, if he has the power, against bona fide Yoruba indigenes of Lagos and neighbouring states who did and will again vote for PDP ie for Jimi Agbaje. I know that Oba Akiolu, who is definitely not the Oba of Ikeja, or Ikorodu, has advisers. They have woefully failed him this time around. He certainly does not plan to banish Chief Olabode George and his followers. Or does he?
Oba Akiolu is actually undermining the APC which will in all probability win the Lagos governorship election without his help. Without campaigning for any side, I must state that some Igbo voters, previously inclined to vote for APC's Ambode, may just tip the balance by daring Oba Akiolu. I hope that the APC may not have to regret and pay for the unguarded utterances of someone who is not even a card carrying member.
