FAKE NEWS - IS NIGERIA BEING TARGETED FROM OUTSIDE?

I just WATCHED journalist CAITLIN DICKERSON (The New York Times) being interviewed on The Rachel Maddow Show. The issue discussed was this article by Dickerson that has put a lot of flesh on the bare bones of whatever we know to date on the evils of Fake News from whatever origin, cooked up for very sinister ends. The following exerpt seems to represent every white mother's fear. I wouldn't know, but this is probably what they mean by "throwing red meat at the base"

"My girl is blond and blue-eyed,” one woman wrote. “I am extremely worried about her safety.” . . Which mother wouldn't be?

We already know enough about Russia's campaign of disinformation in Europe. Meanwhile the Republican Congress in the US is grappling with whether or not it is interested in unraveling WHAT HAPPENED.

My current worry is Nigeria. I wonder what the Russians and their Putin are contributing in the ongoing open dispute between Ndigbo and the Hausa-Fulani; the Nigerian South-East a.k.a. #Biafra and the rest of Nigeria; and finally between Nnamdi Kanu and oldman Buhari.

Russian involvement cannot be as farfetched as some may imagine. The hunger for a Russian coloured global hegemony by Putin has been well documented and seems to be so all consuming that it knows no bounds.

Am I being paranoid or what?
