THE URHOBO NATION AND BIAFRA
I just don't understand the likes of Sen Ovie Omo-Agege. The real tragedy is that he is not alone. These are the types aptly described by a reinvigourated Femi Fani-Kayode in his several essays about the Slave Mentality. . . A map is a map and is only a map. Till today the Chinese map of the South China Sea and the various islands, attols and reefs differs very much from that of Vietnam, The Phillipines, South Korea and Malaysia. They even have their own names for that body of water. The same goes for Russia with regard to the Russian Pacific far east vis-a-vis the Japanese interpretation of the state boundaries in those territories - the Kuril Islands, etc. Those disputes remain and only become problematic when one side decides to move unilaterally and invade or occupy. The renewed Russian claim to parts of the Ukraine, namely Crimea, or the Dombass-Donesk or indeed the whole of Ukraine was NEVER much of a problem until Russian troops moved in. . . I therefore do not understand how the Urhobo Nation, which was never a part of the defunct Biafra, which ostensibly has the very might of the Federal Government solidly behind it, will lose any sleep over a map. I just don't get it. With the amount of antipathy towards this Igbo(?) project, I cannot see how any group can be forced into Biafra. I fail to see how Ndigbo will find the time and energy to even conceptualize and attempt that stunt. The Urhobo Nation should focus, without the distraction of Omo-Agege, on what it wants to do with its future. Ndigbo cannot do anything about it. As it is, Ndigbo have more than enough on their plate. [Urhobo nation is not part of Biafra - South-south senator ▷ NAIJ.COM] is good, have a look at it! https://www.naij.com/1108703-urhobo-nation-part-biafra-sout…
